DAY 1 : Arrival & transfer to Samsing
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) ( 96 km , 3 hrs. drive approx.) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) ( 83 km , 2 ½ hrs. drive approx.) / New Mal Junction – NMZ ( 26 km , 1 hr. drive approx.).meet & greet session then transfer to Samsing.The land of orange orchard , strawberry , picturesque plains , tea garden , river Murti& lush green forest.Post lunch stroll around the picturesque village & night stay at Samsing.
DAY 2 : Transfer to Lataguri
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Lataguri (37 km , 1 ½ hrs. drive approx).visit Suntalekhola ( Santala means – Orange & Khola means – river), this place is famous for delicious orange & Murti river that flows through it , Jaldhaka Hydel project also attracts many tourist apart from it Jhalong , Bindu , rocky island are the three most visited spot for its natural beauty & never ending green valley.Overnight stay at Lataguri , under Gorumara National Park.
DAY 3 : Jungle safari / watch tower
Early morning enjoy thrilling Jungle safari / watch tower ( need to book in advance by the visitors himself).One can sight Asiatic one horned Rhinocerous , Hispid hare ,Other species like Elephant , Gaur , Leopard , Sambar , Hog deer , Wild boar etc.Back to your stay , post breakfast proceed to visit some historical place i.e. Jalpeshwar Mandir(27 km , 1 ½ hrs. drive approx.) once made by the Cooch King Pran Narayan of Coochbehar (Now its has become a district) in 1665.A famous shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.Jotileswar Mandir (temple)32 km via Maynaguri.it was constructed during Gupt Era by stone & brick.You can hear your whistle blow & chirping of variety of birds.Back to Lataguri & night stay.
DAY 4 : Transfer to Jaldapara National Park
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Jaldapara wildlife sanctuary ( 90 km , 2 – 2 ½ hrs. drive approx.).Visit south Kayerbari “ Leopard Rescue Centre “ .Arrive at Jaldapara , check in , post lunch stand in a queue to collect ticket for the elephant ride ( need to book in advance by the visitors himself).Overnight stay at Jaldapara , under Jaldapara National Park.
DAY 5 : Elephant safari – day trip to Jayanti , Rajabhatkhawa , Buxa – Rajabhatkhawa
Early morning enjoy thrilling elephant safari in Hollong.This is the most exciting journey to be enjoyed during your stay at Jaldapara.The forest is mainly savannah covered with tall elephant grasses.One can sight Asiatic one horned Rhinocerous , leopard, elephants, sambar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer, wild pigs, and bison. Back to you stay , post breakfast proceed for a day trip to Rajabhatkhawa ( 49 km , 2 hrs. drive approx.) “ The gateway of Buxa Tiger Reserve (BTR) , Jayanti ( 64 km , 2 ½ hrs. drive approx.) A picturesque spot along the meandering Jayanti river forming a natural border with beautiful Bhutan hills..A drive of another 5 km from Jayanti more you reach Santalabari where you could enjoy the trek to Buxa Fort ( 4 km , 2 hrs. trek).Post lunch back to Rajabhatkhawa.overnight stay at Rajabhatkhawa.
DAY 6 : Rajabhatkhawa to New Alipurduar Junction / Hasimara Junction / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station
Post breakfast , check out & proceed for New Alipurduar Junction ( 17 km , 40 min. drive ) / Hasimara Junction ( 37 km , 1 ½ hrs. drive approx.) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station ( 165 km , 4 ½ - 5 hrs. drive approx).If time permits one can enjoy the lush green tea garden of Kalchini .Tour ends.
