DAY 1 : Arrival & transfer to Thimphu

On arrival at Falakata railway station (69km) / Alipurduar railway station (55km) / Hasimara railway station (19km) - meet & greet & transfer to Phuentosholing .Processing for permit , then proceed for Thimphu ( 165 km , 6 – 6 ½ hrs. drive approx.).Enroute visit Chuka Dam (Top View).Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 2 : Thimphu full day city tour

Post breakfast proceed for a city tour , covering Buddha point , BBS tower , Tashicchhoe Dzong , The memorial chorten , National library , The Institute of Traditional Medicine . Centenary Farmer Market , Changlimithang Stadium , School of arts & crafts , Handicraft school , Zangthopelri lhakhang , Motithang takin reserve (Takin Zoo) , Semthoka Dzong.Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 3 : Thimphu – Punkha & Wangdu –Punakha

Transfer To Punakha. ( which is Approx 3 Hours /90 Km , From Thimphu)Punakha is the administrative centre of Punakha dzongkhag, districts of Bhutan. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan. It Has a population of 25,700. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. It Has a Population Of 34,300. Enroute Visit 1) Dochu la Pass, 2) Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. 3) Punakha Dzong, 4) Wangdue Phodrang, 5) Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten.Overnight Stay at Punakha.

DAY 4 : Punakha to Paro

Post breakfast Transfer to Paro, Paro is Destination Of Scenic Beauty, The Only International Airport of Bhutan in Paro. It Has a Population of 39,800. (which is approx. 4 Hours /143 Km From Punakha & Wangdue). Check-In at Hotel . Overnight Stay at Paro.

DAY 5 : Paro to Chele La pass ( 45 km , 2hrs. drive) & Haa Valley only (22 km , 1 hr. drive)

Early morning breakfast proceed for a thrilling journey to Chele La pass ( 4200 meter) .On a clear day one can sight Mt.Chomolhari & Jichu Drakey from here.Another 22 km drive will take to you to Haa Valley (It is an army occupied zone , hence you can have the outside view).Back to Paro & night stay.

DAY 6 : Paro full day city tour

Post breakfast Visit 1) Drukgyal Dzong, 2) View of Taktsang Monastery, 3) Kichulanka Monastery, 4) Ta Dzong, 5) Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), 6) Nya-Mey Zam, 7) Dungtse Lhankhang, 8) Druk Choeding. Overnight Stay at Paro.

DAY 7 : Transfer to NJP railway station

Post breakfast check out & proceed for Hasimara railway station (19km) / Alipurduar railway station (55km) / Falakata railway station (69km) , via Phuentsholing For Onward Journey. (Tour End)

At Bhutan immigration

  • Voter Identity Card

    In case of not holding the above document, guest need to approach to the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for getting permission for entry into Bhutan. The following documents are required at the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for identification of Indian Citizenship

Note:

Indian Embassy is closed on Saturday & Sunday. Permit on Saturday & Sunday is issued by Main Gate office, Department of immigration, Phuentsholling, Bhutan

Don’ts

  • Do not carry Indian INR 500/- or INR 1000/- Currency Notes. It is Illegal.
  • Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
  • Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is Illegal.
  • Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.

Tips for Traveler:

  • Request permission before taking photographs of people, events or objects
  • Inside the premises of Temples, Dzongs or Monastery, photographs are not permitted.
  • Photographs is only permitted in the court yard area.
  • Artifacts or Antiques, large or small, ruined or not, they are regarded as sacred.
  • Please take of hats while entering Dzongs, Temples or Monastery.
  • Shorts / Half Pants are not permitted while entering a Dzong, Temple or Monastery
  • While in a Dzong, Temple, Monastery, please switch off cell phones or in the Silent / Vibrating Mode
  • Please speak softly within the religious premises
  • Check-in 12:00 hours / Check-out time is 11:00 hours in hotel
  • Please keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages
  • Child sharing parent's room will not be provided an Extra Bed
  • On arrival of guests we will provide local contact numbers of our executive, who will handle the entire operation
  • If any tourist spot do not complete for closing day & if they want to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle
  • Shorts / Half Pants are not permitted while entering a Dzong, Temple or Monastery
  • Please maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers - Otherwise guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand
  • Room Heater available with an Extra Cost Bourne by the guest directly
  • Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear it with candle light
  • For Extra Adult in the room we will provide an Extra Bed (wherever quoted), but some hotels only provide a roll out bed / Mattress and have no provision of an Extra Bed
  • In unavoidable circumstances operators have the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability / road conditions without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services

Cancellation:

We are not responsible for tour cancellation due to Force Majeure clause (Expenses / Cancellations incurred due to mishaps, landslide, strikes, political unrest etc.) Additional expenses incurred due to Force Majeure Clause on the ongoing tour shall be borne by the guest on actual.
